Salvete, omnes! Nomen datur mihi- wait, I have to write in English. Whoops.

Hi everyone! If you can’t tell, that up there is a little thing called Latin; you might have heard of it.

If the name of my school doesn’t tell you this already, I’m working on learning this so-called “dead language.”  I’ll be starting Latin III in the fall, and I’m super excited. I also come from a huge Italian family, so I can speak a little and say prayers in Italian.

I live with my mom, dad, brother, and dog in Burlington, Ky., in a house that I’ve been told is in the middle of nowhere (this from someone who lives in Villa Hills, so I’m not sure how to take it) and has been my home since I moved there from Virginia two months after I was born.

Here’s another fun fact for you: I’m 14 years old. If you’re trying to connect the dots there, don’t worry: it’s not normal. I’ve skipped two grades: second and seventh. That means that when events and classes – this workshop included – are based on grade, I tend to be part of the younger crowd. Yay for me.

When I’m not drowning in homework, I like to be onstage or at a computer. Performing and technology are two passions of mine, and I consider myself to be somewhat knowledgeable in both fields. I’ve been involved in several full-scale drama productions and musicals, including nine with Moss Dance and Performing Arts Academy and two in my school drama clubs. Although I mainly sing and act, I want to direct and produce shows and movies as a career.

Favorite social media: I really like Instagram because it’s a great way to meet new people and explore their interests.

Dream job: Honestly, the farthest I’ve gotten with this question is that I want my name in the credits of movies. Director, producer, costume, soundtrack, acting, animating, editing… Oh my.

Interesting fact: My lucky number is 18. Originally, it was because it was my audition number when I landed my first lead as Flounder in The Little Mermaid, but I’ve also figured out it’s my birthday (Jan. 8 – 1/8) and my graduation year (2018).
