Tricia Gullett, Student

School: Henry Clay High School in Lexington, Ky.

Class: Senior

Prior to this camp I would not have ever thought I would attend a Journalism and Informatics camp if only because I’m not very interested in technology or photography. However, I’m all about writing. Since I have joined this camp, I have not only made new friends, but I’ve also developed an appreciation for photographers and the work they do.

Besides my interest in journalism, I have found that I question how people come to a resolution or react in a particular scenario. This fetish of mine is more simply defined as psychology. In my hopes to attend NKU in the fall of 2017, I would like to pursue psychology and journalism.

One more hobby of mine is my love for exercise and being active in general.I enjoy running, hiking, swimming, playing soccer, or simply going on a walk with friends.

What’s your favorite social media and why?

Pinterest because you can have as many boards as you like on a variety of topics.

What’s your dream job and why?

Something oriented around psychology and writing, so a forensic psychologist or a professor and researcher.

What’s one interesting fact about you?

I enjoy reading the New York Times; first and foremost I am interested in politics, but in addition to that, I like to read about people’s individual accomplishments in life.
